Graveyard of the Atlantic
|
The Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum is a 19,000 square foot facility located along the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Built in 2003, the museum houses sensitive artifacts and exhibits in a temperature and humidity controlled facility. Because of it's remote location, system integration and remote access are important in monitoring and troubleshooting the HVAC systems. The Distech system integration includes direct integration into 2 McQuay water cooled DX Air Handling Units, cooling towers, VAV boxes and 2 hot water boilers.
More than just a collection of artifacts, the Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum is a premier cultural attraction for the Atlantic Seaboard and one of the finest, most innovative maritime facilities in the nation. The Graveyard of the Atlantic, with one of the highest densities of shipwrecks in the world, holds some of America's most important maritime history.
