Safety
Our progressive safety program is focused on educating our workforce, identifying potential safety hazards and enforcing accident-prevention practices. These preventative measures include:- Hazard control includes preventive measures such as periodic workplace inspections and injury prevention training.
- Pre-job safety meetings are held to gain a full understanding of all job safety requirements. In addition, a company safety meeting is held to establish loss control measures and to arrange for proper protective equipment and materials.
- Field Superintendents have successfully completed a 30 hour OSHA Outreach Training Course for Construction tailored to their specific discipline and the American Red Cross Standard First Aid with AED training.
- Safety orientation classes, drug screening and mentor programs are implemented for newly hired shop & field employees.
- Employee incentives are offered for no lost time or work days due to injury.
- Dedicated Safety Team & Quality Control personnel are assigned for project safety and maintenance of client quality standards.
- Employee “Toolbox” safety meetings are held monthly by superintendents.
