Job Description

We have a current opening for a Controls Sales Representative to join our team. The Controls Sales Rep identifies potential sources to solicit new customers for company portfolio of services and products. They also meet with customers to generate sales by using persuasive marketing materials, presentations, and communications.

Candidates for this position may be based out of Charlotte, Greensboro or Raleigh, NC.

 Requirements

• 2+ years of commercial/industrial control sales experience
• College Degree or equivalent in experience
• MS Office Suite or related computer experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated and independent work ability

 Responsibilities

• Sources, develops and qualifies sales leads through cold calling and secures appointments
• Responsible for research necessary to perform selling (prospecting/qualifying) activities
• Proactively prospects within business sectors that directly align with the company
• Provides account management for existing clientele
• Meets or exceeds monthly targeted sales goals
• Meets or exceeds required number of appointments and quotes
• Actively introduces products/services/extensions to new and existing customers
• Builds and develops a loyal customer base
• Communicates across departments to ensure smooth business operations and customer installations
• Insures that client expectations are met and kept throughout the duration of the project to insure complete customer satisfaction
• Identifies new market opportunities through research and evaluation of trends
• Inputs, maintains and retrieves information from databases; insures accuracy of records
• Call on building owners, engineers, and mechanical contractors
